About Faith

Faith Ayres

LAPC

As a therapist, I am skilled at working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, self-esteem/self-image issues, and other life stressors associated with career and school concerns. My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Montevallo.

My clinical internship includes a treatment center for eating disorders, where I worked primarily with adolescents and women. My passion lies in creating a safe and warm environment for clients to be truly heard. I believe in fostering an atmosphere of self-discovery and insight, empowering individuals to navigate both their inner world and the world around them.

I consider it a privilege to walk alongside individuals in the therapeutic process. In my practice, I employ an eclectic approach that integrates person centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic work. This allows me to tailor my methods to the unique needs of each client, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your path to healing and growth
